There are lots of careers available in inZOI and the ability to get promoted, too.

Jobs are controlled through the smartphone, which you can access from the bar at the bottom of the screen or by pressing P. At the bottom of the phone, you can access the Career app, which will give you the options for choosing which career you want your Zoi to apply for.
At first, you’ll only have the option of applying for early stage careers, which typically pay less. For example, you might be able to become the Cashier at the furniture store, but not the manager right away.
Jobs have certain eligibility criteria, which mainly seem to be based around age. You’ll be forced to retire from most jobs when you reach the senior life stage.
Each job will have an indicator saying how many people are currently working there out of its maximum capacity, but don’t be discouraged from applying to a ‘full’ job. Another employee will conveniently quit and applications always seem to be successful. (This may change as the game progresses through early access.)
Once you’ve applied for a job, check the times you’ll be expected to arrive as you only get three absences before you’re fired. This will typically be three days out of the week.
You can resign from your job at any time, although it will reset your rank.
What jobs are available in inZOI?
Here are some of the entry level full time jobs available from the careers app while using the Bliss Bay map:
- Mackenzie Furniture Store cashier
- Amusement Park worker
- Plutus Financial intern
- Themis & Jones law firm junior lawyer
- Bliss Bay times reporter
- Bliss Bay University assistant professor
- Navy corporal
- Blue Moon Soft junior developer
- Bliss Bay Nautilus backup player
- Westside Hustler rookie.
There are also part time jobs available at a surf shop and fast food chain, however, these currently actually take up the same amount of your Zoi’s time — 9am to 6 or 7pm three days a week.
How to get promoted in inZOI
Once you have a job, you can check your current status once again using the Careers app on your phone.
Attending your job diligently will slowly raise the percentage of your current position, and you can see what the next step on the ladder will be for your Zoi.
In some jobs, like at the furniture store, you will be able to follow your Zoi and see a list of tasks they have at work. Completing these will increase your evaluation, while not doing them will decrease it.
In some jobs, like the journalism track, events may happen to your Zoi at work which you can select an outcome for. These may also increase your percentage towards a promotion.
But generally, being promoted isn’t too difficult. One Zoi left mostly to their own devices while I worked on other things was able to go from being a reporter at the Bliss Bay Times to an editor with only 10 days worked, increasing her daily wage by more than 350 Meow. (Yes, that’s what the currency is called.)
