The main goal in ARC Raiders is to get the best possible loot during every match. Whether this is materials for your workbench, powerful weapons for future matches, or high-selling items that will earn you a ton of Raider Coins. While valuable loot can be found anywhere in the game, locked doors that require keys have a higher chance of dropping the best rewards.
One of the many keys in ARC Raiders is the Dam Testing Annex Key, an item that falls under the Rare tier. This key can be used to open a couple of doors on the Dam Battlegrounds map, leading to a room with a bunch of breach spots, drawers to loot, and even Raider caches.
If you have been looking for the door that requires this key, but haven’t had much luck finding it on your own, this guide has you covered. Read on to learn where to use the Dam Testing Annex Key in ARC Raiders.
How to Find the Dam Testing Annex Key
Just like all other keys in ARC Raiders, the Dam Testing Annex Key is a random drop that can be found pretty much anywhere. However, keys have higher drop rates in residential areas and facilities, so it’s wise to search these types of places first when key hunting.
For example, I found my first Dam Testing Annex Key in the Научно-исследовательское и административное здание on the Dam Battlegrounds map. The second time I found the Dam Testing Annex Key was when I was exploring the Апартаменты Grandioso on the Buried City map.
Typically, keys are found in drawers of desks, so this should be your focus when exploring different locations. Make sure to search every single drawer to increase your chances of claiming a key. Once you do find the Dam Testing Annex Key, make sure to put it in your Safe Pocket, so you don’t lose it if you end up not extracting.
How to Use the Dam Testing Annex Key
На самом деле две двери players can use the Dam Testing Annex Key on in ARC Raiders. Luckily, both of these doors are found at the same location, the Testing Annex.
As shown in the image above, make your way to the Testing Annex and enter through the west door. You’ll know you’re on the correct side of the Testing Annex if you see a sign that reads «milae analyz».
The door that requires the Dam Testing Annex Key can be found near this entrance, on the first floor, in the back hallway. Both doors that ask for the Dam Testing Annex Key can be found in this back hallway, so go ahead and choose which one to open.
I recommend bringing two Dam Testing Annex Keys if you have them, so you’re able to open both doors and increase the amount of loot you receive. However, since this key is of the Rare variety, it may be hard to do that.
Once on the inside of the Dam Testing Annex room, make sure to barricade the door with a Door Blocker gadget. This will prevent any Raider from sneaking up on you and stealing all your precious goodies.
Dam Testing Annex Rewards
The rewards you get in the Dam Testing Annex room can differ greatly from what I found, but it’s likely that you will end up finding rare materials and maybe even a blueprint.
When I first looted the Dam Testing Annex room, I found a Bettina Blueprint, Sensors, Magnets, and Heavy Gun Parts. Not a very great haul, considering all these items can be found easily in different areas.
However, the second time I visited the Dam Testing Annex room, I found the Snap Hook and Anvil Splitter legendary items. I had never found these items anywhere else on the map, so it was a good feeling when they appeared on-screen. I recommend searching this room during a night raid, since those have better loot drops.
As you can see, there’s no predicting what you will find when you visit the Dam Testing Annex room, but since it requires a key, you have a higher chance of finding hard-to-find materials, items, and weapons.
