Borderlands 4 has many legendary items that are worth going out of your way to get if you want to have a strong build for your character. For instance, you will always want to collect the legendary class mods to enhance your character’s abilities.
If you are looking for a strong weapon that will carry you through Kairos, look no further than Birt’s Bees. This legendary SMG is one of the best in the game, and it has a unique ability, allowing you to control the shots that it fires.
Давай сломаем how to get Birt’s Bees in Borderlands 4, и на каких персонажах его следует использовать.
How To Get Birt’s Bees Legendary SMG
Birt’s Bees is dropped by the most annoying boss in Borderlands 4: Sludgemaw. This boss is located at the Watershed Gate in The Fadefields. You can find the Watershed to the north of the Someday Rise Safehouse.
Unfortunately, you won’t have access to this area right away, as the portion where Sludgemaw is hiding isn’t unlocked until you complete the correct side mission.
To unlock the Sludgemaw boss fight, you will need to complete the All Charged Up side mission. This mission becomes available after you complete the Null and Void side mission.
Once both missions have been completed, you will have access to the Watershed Gate location and the Sludgemaw boss fight.
How To Farm Birt’s Bees Legendary SMG

As with any boss in Borderlands 4, you will want to use Moxxi’s Encore Machine to restart the boss fight to farm Sludgemaw for the Birt’s Bees SMG.
Sludgemaw is a particularly annoying boss that can be time-consuming to farm, thanks to its tendency to disappear underground for extended periods.
To make things go more quickly, you can use a Vex bleed build, Harlowe CHROMA Accelerator build, or Rafa Peacebringer Cannon build to rapidly destroy the boss’s health.
If you don’t have a particularly strong build, you can stand in a location to the boss to bait it into using melee attacks and prevent it from going underground as often.
You can also use an incendiary weapon, as Sludgemaw is weak to fire damage due to its single red health bar. If you are playing on a higher difficulty, using an incendiary weapon will deal significantly more damage than other element types.
Birt’s Bees Attributes

Birt’s Bees is a legendary SMG in Borderlands 4 with a fast fire rate, decent magazine size, and it can come in multiple elements. It is important to note that the elemental variants of this weapon are often stronger than the non-elemental version, so you should try to get an elemental variant.
The special ability of Birt’s Bees is called Hivemind, which makes the bullets fire in a spread pattern before converging on the location you are pointing the weapon. If there is an enemy nearby, the shots fired will automatically track to the enemy.
This ability makes the weapon very useful in most situations, as you can easily hit enemies without needing to aim at them. I often like using this weapon in intense firefights, as I can run and shoot with little regard to where I am aiming.
I find Birt’s Bees to be the most useful on Rafa, especially with an infinite ammo build, though I also often use this weapon with Amon and Harlowe. Birt’s Bees is a great weapon all-around that can benefit any Vault Hunter, similar to the Wombo Combo.
