Anyone who’s played Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth knows the real endgame challenge lies in the Colosseum. Winning the final 10 matches in the Master Cup is not for the faint of heart.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger brings the arena back, now renamed Paradise Colosseum. It’ll take a while, but as you progress through the story, you’ll unlock The Greatest OMNI Carnival, a fancy name for the bouts.

In this guide, I’ll go over every battle, opponents’ attributes and weaknesses, and a few handy tips. From there, it’s up to you to choose the perfect lineup from your Digimon roster and bring that trophy home.

Without further ado, let’s get it on with The Greatest OMNI Carnival guide for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, featuring every match in the Paradise Colosseum.

Searching for Nanimon

The first battle is called Searching for Nanimon. Don’t underestimate it just because you’re facing a Botamon. While they are not strong, dealing with their X-Heal is a pain.

To make things worse, Digitamamon knows X-Revive, so the fight turns into an annoying back-and-forth. If possible, take both down at once to stop them from supporting each other, or use Injury to block their pesky healing.

King of Big Bad Bugs

For this one, I brought one Vaccine and two Data Digimon, all with Fire attacks, and focused on FunBeemon first. After that, the Data Digimon made short work of Snimon and Tentomon.

They use a few buffs on their party, but I didn’t notice any healing skills. They’re not very tanky, and focusing on their weaknesses will make the fight quick.

Monzaemon and Friends

As the name implies, you’ll be facing Monzaemon and his buddies, which, if I’m not mistaken, is a lovely allusion to Winnie the Pooh.

SaberLeomon focuses on attacking and can cause Immobilization, so cure your Digimon as needed. Unimon deals Light damage and uses Aura to heal their friends.

However, it’s Monzaemon’s special skill, Heart’s Attack, that heals the most. So, rip the stuffing out of that high bear first, then Unimon, and lastly, Tigger.

Lucky Number 100!

This fight is against SkullMeramon alone, but don’t underestimate him, or you’ll become his 100th victim. When he hits half health, he’ll use Triple Action and possibly two Heavy Metal Fires in a row, causing party-wide damage and poison.

If your team is full of Virus Digimon, you’ll probably be fine. Still, stay alert because every time SkullMeramon acts, he’ll do so thrice and sometimes spam Heavy Metal Fire again.

In general, just attack and heal when needed, and you’ll win easily enough.

Trustworthy Truth-Tellers

Your enemies here are likely a mirror of your own team, with one Digimon of each attribute. So, you can do the same and have each of yours focus on its natural prey — or gang up on one target.

I suggest taking down Lillymon first. Aside from using Aura (by now you’ve probably noticed I hate enemies who heal), she also uses Magic Charge on allies. After that, I went for Whamon, since it kept putting my Digimon to sleep.

Circus in the Red: No Misreckoning

Three Mega Digimon, huh? Scary. But despite being at that evolutionary stage, they’re pushovers. I fought with two Data and one Vaccine, focused on Piedmon first, and then took care of the others.

Compared to some earlier fights, these enemies have low HP, so I doubt you’ll struggle. Focus on their weaknesses, heal up, you know, the same drill as always.

What a shitty matchup. All Virus enemies, so bring some Vaccine and air fresheners. Every Sukamon is weak to Water and Ice, but PlatinumSukamon has relatively high DEF.

You won’t have much trouble here if you’ve beaten the earlier fights, but to optimize your setup, bring Vaccine Digimon with high INT and magic skills to quickly melt the platinum poop.

Covert Honey Corps: Royal Commandos

These three TigerVespamon do nothing but hit you with physical skills and sometimes lower your DEF. The main issue is that when one drops below 50% HP, all three will use Double Action.

They’ll keep attacking non-stop, but if you’re running an all-Vaccine team, you’ll be fine. Just don’t get overwhelmed by their back-to-back turns.

Imperialdramon: режим паладина

I believe the match name gave away your opponent. Imperialdramon PM is a Vaccine type, so you must, without a doubt, bring some heavy-hitting Data Digimon.

His Omni Blade hurts — and I mean really hurts. Even my Vaccine Digimon got one-shot, especially when he used Guard Break beforehand. That’s why you should stick with Data.

Since he’s alone, you know what’s coming, right? Yeah, once he drops to about 75% HP, he’ll use Triple Action and keep swinging.

Despite the strong hits, he’s pretty one-dimensional. Keep your HP up and unleash Dark skills whenever possible. Eventually, his sword will be yours. As a reward for victory, you’ll earn the Omni Blade, required to digivolve your own Imperialdramon PM.

Also, if you joined the OMNI Carnival as soon as the arena opened, this is currently the last available challenge. You’ll need to progress the story or finish side missions to unlock new matches.

The True Twentiest

Требование: Complete The Easy Road Is Best side mission

After completing The Easy Road Is Best, Grademon will feel way too enthusiastic and challenge you to a match in the Paradise Colosseum. Time to put him in his place.

Grademon is a Vaccine Digimon, so bring Data. He will start the battle using Double Action and go full offensive.

Like most headstrong enemies, all I had to do was keep my Digimons’ HP filled while attacking the enemy where it hurts the most.

Gatekeepers of Fire & Ice

Требование: Complete Fire and Ice at War main mission

Once you finish the main mission in Heat and Chill Cosmic, you’ll need to head to the Guardian Palace. Upon arrival, Vulcanomon will inform you of a new challenger in the Paradise Colosseum.

Sorcermon and Wizardmon hit like magical trucks. I suggest starting with a Data team, focus on Sorcermon first, then switch to Virus to take down Wizardmon.

If the Olympians are accompanying you, the battle will be even easier. The trick is avoiding sending Digimon whose types are unfavorable to the enemies, because there’s a high chance of suffering a one-hit KO.

Hey, Kid! You Here for a Fight?!

Требование: Complete The Mad Oracle main mission

You’re probably familiar with this fight since you’ve faced galloping Titamon before, but revisiting it never hurts. He’s Virus, so bring some Vaccine to deal with this oversized infectious agent.

Additionally, Titamon has no elemental weakness, resists Earth and Steel, and is immune to Dark. So avoid using those skills and you’ll be fine. He’s a pretty straightforward opponent.

However, midway through, Titamon will technically lose his powers and split into two In-Training Digimon: Tsunomon and Dorimon. Since they don’t have Attributes, the only way to do increased damage is to focus on their elemental weaknesses.

Don’t underestimate them, though, because they still deal solid damage, especially when Tsunomon summons Chronomon’s power. Since all his attacks are Earth, you can bring Earth-resistant Digimon or equipment. Keep hitting them, and eventually victory will be yours.

Lucemon ⅔

Требование: Complete A Gift from the Hosts side mission

After completing the A Gift from the Hosts side mission, you’ll be able to travel back and forth through eras and locations, meaning you can go to the Paradise Colosseum to face the three new matches that just appeared. Just be prepared, because fights are getting tougher.

Seraphimon and Ophanimon are both Vaccine Digimon with Light skills, so prepare accordingly. They hit hard, but only once per round. Also, Seraphimon cast X-Heal when Ophanimon was almost dead, so I had to drain her HP twice.

I don’t know if Ophanimon can heal her partner as well, but probably. Just bring some mean Data Dark Digimon and raise hell in heaven.

Golchidrarin

Требование: Complete A Gift from the Hosts side mission

Yet another Holy Vaccine pair. What’s going on in digital heaven?

Goldramon is double weak to Dark, so these skills will send them straight into oblivion. Chirinmon is also weak against Dark, so you can use the same team as the previous fight.

No secrets here. I won the fight in Auto mode and wasn’t even that strong. My team was all Mega Digimon around level 38.

The Guardian’s Guardians

Требование: Complete A Gift from the Hosts side mission

There’s definitely something shady going on in Heaven, like some divine betting, because we’re once again facing four Vaccine Angel Light-aspected Digimon.

Can you reuse the same team as before? Sure, why not. But be cautious, as they all have party-wide Light special skills. If you want to play it safe, bring Digimon resistant to Light or equip accessories.

I focused on SlashAngemon first, then MagnaAngemon, and lastly our jailor, ClavisAngemon. Clavis uses Reflect Physical, so bring magical skills to put this cherub in its place.

Terrier Twins and Their Teacher

Требование: Complete all previous bouts

Two Vaccine and one Data. I went with two Data and one Vaccine, taking down the lone Lopmon first. The Rookies hit hard but aren’t as strong as Cherubimon, so avoid using Virus Digimon at all costs.

Lopmon (or was it Terriermon?) can Pixel your Digimon, but at this point in the game, you’re packed with restorative items, so no problem. Once both Rookies are dead, focus on Cherubimon to show they’re not that great.

Master & Pupil Trio

Требование: Start The Helper from Shambala and The Forgetful Helpers side missions

Once you reach the endgame, a bunch of new side missions appear. Among them is The Helper from Shambala, which initiates by talking to Kunlun. After that, go to the Paradise Colosseum, talk to Kotemon, and start The Forgetful Helpers.

You’ll face the oriental Digimon in the Paradise Colosseum, unlocking this bout. Kotemon is Data, while Zanbamon and Musyamon are Virus, so I went all-in with two Vaccine and one Virus.

Their elemental weaknesses are all over the place, but you can set up well to face them. They only attacked constantly, no buffs, debuffs, or healing, like true warriors. However, defeated true warriors cried to their big bro once they lost.

Hero from Shambala

Требование: Complete The Forgetful Helpers and accept Susanomon the Hero

The Shambala hero will most certainly be your hardest challenge so far in the arena. The battle barely started, and he had already one-hit KOed my Slayerdramon.

Since he’s alone, he’ll eventually cast Triple Action, so bring Data Digimon to tank all of Susanomon’s attacks.

Keep HP topped. Ama no Habakiri is party-wide damage and probably ignores resistance, meaning even your Data Digimon will take full damage. This skill alone wiped about 50% of my digital monsters’ HP.

After using many X-Aura, Earth, and Null skills, the boss went down, and I became known as the Villain from Shambala.

Golden Intruders

Требование: Accept Final Battle Challenger side mission

One Vaccine and one Virus, each with their own weakness. This fight is simple. Use your best Mega or even Mega+ and make them regret challenging you.

They only used offensive skills, and I didn’t even need to heal my allies. I crushed them with their own weaknesses and claimed victory.

Mighty Mad Man

Требование: Complete Yaro-Kei Ramen and accept A Stubborn Fighter?

If you’re completing the side mission to gather the Royal Knights, eventually you’ll talk to Gankoomon and look for Jesmon. After finishing Jesmon’s mission, speak to Gankoomon again, and he’ll challenge you in the arena.

Gankoomon is alone, so expect more actions. Actually, don’t. He never used nor double or triple actions. Despite the bravado, he’s quite puny. Crack his head with some Virus Digimon and that’s it.

Solo Beauty

Требование: Complete The Beautiful Knight Corps and accept A Display of Beautiful Swordplay

Another Royal Knight waiting for a royal smack. After completing the quest where you find LordKnightmon, he will appear for a match in the Colosseum.

Much like the previous fight against Gankoomon, it seems King Drasil is just handing knighthood to any Digimon that pops up, because LordKnightmon is a pushover.

He only attacks and won’t bother with Double or Triple Action, so focus your Vaccine firepower and take this win home fast.

Kings of Pharaohmon

Требование: Finish the game

After finishing the game and saving a Clear Data, reload it and go back to the In-Between Theater to receive a Digiline from Volcanomon about a new match.

One might think this bout is challenging since it’s unlocked after finishing the game, right? It kind of is, at the same time that it isn’t. Every single enemy is level 75 with relatively high stats.

KingEtemon and Pharaohmon are Virus Digimon, while PrinceMamemon is Data. I suggest going all-in with Vaccine to take out the two Virus first. You don’t have much choice anyway because KingEtemon will keep taunting you.

One solid strategy is to use AoE Electricity or Light attacks. Since Aegiomon is accompanying you as a guest, you’ve got a clear numerical advantage. Digivolve it to Aegiochusmon: Holy and wreak havoc.

The thing is, if you manage to kill KingEtemon first, Pharaohmon will almost certainly use X-Revive on them. It’s a small wrench in your plan, but one that can be countered by defeating Egypt’s ruler via party-wide attacks.

Guess what? Once you complete this bout, the next one is finally the last!

Marsmon, God of DigiBattles

Требование: Win every other match

Are you ready for the final bout? Be prepared. Bring some nasty Data Digimon with Water or Ice attacks and fire-resistant gear to quench Marsmon’s blaze. The bad boy is level 80 and acts four times per round like a bona fide cheater.

Most of the time, Marsmon will spam his Corona Sanctions special skill, which deals fire damage and increases if he has more buffs. He’ll also cast Lunatic Gate III, a party-wide null physical damage skill.

Now and then, he’ll boost his own attack. Later, when he’s about to die, Marsmon will cast Spirit, buffing every single stat, and then spam more attacks. At this point, Corona Sanctions will really hurt, which is why you need that fire-resistant gear. He’s a simple-minded brute, but a brute nonetheless.

I had one Digimon with X-Aura, topping my allies’ HP at all times, while the others kept hammering him. I also used Cross Art: High Field whenever possible to buff my own allies. All in all, it wasn’t as complicated as I expected. To be fair, I struggled more against mama Junomon.

Once you win, congratulations on becoming the first-ever triple champion! You’ll earn a Grand Slam gold trophy while also completing The Greatest OMNI Carnival side mission. Mission rewards include 200 Anomaly Points, one Immortal Egg, and two Courage Point V.
